Our MDT GRND-POD bipod is a simplification of our outstanding MDT CKYE-POD used by the top long-range competition shooters in the world.

It retains many of the great features as it’s parent design:

  • one handed adjustments for fast deployment in critical situations like hunting or match shooting.
  • Cant adjustment, as well as 4 angles for each leg, allow for a level position on rock or uneven terrain.
  • Adjustable leg height for getting into a perfect shooting position

ADJUSTABLE THROW LEVER FOR CANT TENSION

The adjustable throw level can be set to what ever position makes it easiest for you to use. This allows you to reach forward and loosen or tighten the cant of your bipod. Having the ability to cant is necessary for long-range shooting.

ONE HANDED OPERATION

Change leg positions with a simple push button system that allows you deploy using one hand. Perfect for timed competition shoots or hunting scenarios.

RAPID DEPLOYMENT

The legs don’t require you to press any buttons to deploy. Simply pull the leg down to set into the required height.

Picatinny is one of the most common mounting systems on modern rifles. It allows for quick attachment or detachment of our MDT GRND-POD in any situation.

ARCA/RRS DOVETAIL is the same system used in modern tripods. If you have an ARCA rail on your rifle, our MDT GRND-POD will mount to it. This offers infinite adjustability along the rail with an easy on/off solution.

The MDT GRND-POD was designed to maximize versatility, as well as cost savings, while retaining features that we, through our extensive customer feedback, knew to be most important in a precision rifle bipod.

With an overall design direction and approval for the bipod, we began to dive deeper into specific bipod features, like adjustable leg lengths, cant with adjustable tension, bipod legs that can be deployed both quickly and easily, and of course stability and strength, exploring some new-to-us materials and manufacturing techniques along the way. Determined to incorporate all of these features at a cost that makes sense, we would not stop until we had achieved our project goal.
